Let’s start this not so magical photo tour in no particular order, just the order that the DVDs from the archives are in. April 8th and 9th of 2011, two totally completely different shows in completely different venues. Within that 24-48 hour period, however you’d describe two different shows with just a night of sleep in-between.
April 8th, 2011 at the Hitone, ex Sports Junction, ex first Hitone –Process of Suffocation. Memphis Black Metal that will literally fight you with machetes if it becomes necessary. My buddy and I did a video for them a few years later that you can find Process of Suffocation – El Libro Negro . Goatwhore was also on the bill, but I believe those photos are on another disk that is coming in the future.
April 9th, 2011 will find me at La Chardonnay on Overton Square with Richard James and Friends. I use “Friends” because I am unsure what iteration of Richard James this could be. He is joined by Anne Schorr on bass, and Ross Johnson on drums. At one point in the evening we get J.B. Horrell on guitar while Richard ran the bar.
