And now we get to our first of a few shows from The Buccaneer Lounge. It was a long running locals watering hole, that eventually ran into some mental problems, and eventually went up in flames. I first went into The Buccaneer Lounge with a bunch of friends that were a bit to rowdy back in winter of 1999/2000. I vividly remember a good friend of mine told the older gentlemen in there that evening to “…and you can eat my dirty pussy.” Ice on the road that night, we left quickly due to the pussy incident and the threat of police. We left.
Hosoi Bros, good dudes, great rock and roll, fun fucking time. I shot a music video for them, the first of a few, that was not allowed to be played at a Memphis showcase for local videos. I hope the people who deemed a hot dog bite and a star wipe were too much for the people of Memphis. Fuck them! Here’s the pictures…
Generation of Vipers, sludgy, doomy, all hails the band from a few hours from Memphis. They came in, killed and left. It’s how live music should be and was…
