I posted over on the Memphis subreddit my intention for this page of nonsense to be in a somewhat annual format. While true, I’ll do my best to give you the dates and times of these photo crimes, it might not go literally linear from year to year, in order.

Welcome to I Noise Memphis. My name is George Hancock. I am a photographer/videographer/printmaker/terrible musician (both electronic and traditional instruments under the name of bckgrndnse )/jerk-of-all trades. I am currently based in Memphis, Tennessee.
This site will attempt to document all of the nonsense that I create. From beats, to gel plate prints, concert photography, and everything else that I come up with. Good, bad, in-between. If I put it up, I at least think it’s worth showing.
Here are some of the first gel plate prints I made in March of 2026. These are the first 20 of about a 250 set of prints. Various colors and paints and materials were used. I’ll be adding more and more as I get the prints photographed.
